Our apartment (number 284) was very centrally located in the Marais District, between 2 metro entrances (the same station, Rambuteau); literally a 3 minute walk to the Pompidou Centre; there was a bus that took you to the Opera, a very short ride; there were restaurants and bars within walking distance. We walked to the Musee d'Orsay which took about 50 minutes, and it was a pleasant walk.

Our room was smallish and had 2 single, comfortable beds with a small ensuite; it was light and we had access to the lounge area and the dining room where we were served breakfast each morning (included in the rate), which consisted of fresh fruit (a different variety each morning), juice, tea/coffee, cheese, baguette and croissants. There was also a large bottle of water left in our room each day. Laundry facilities were offered, but we didn’t take advantage of same.

Our host, Gisele, was delightful and she had a grasp of the English language and was able to provide us with the information asked of her. The apartment is located on the 5th floor and has an elevator; it is secure, safe and clean. There is a double room which is larger and also has an ensuite. There is no air conditioning but we asked for a fan and it was provided. The apartment is located on rue Beaubourg, which is a main street, which the twin room overlooks. If the windows/shutters are kept open at night it can be quite noisy, but with the fan we were able to close the windows and shutters and the room was quite comfortable.

Given the hotel rates in Paris, I thought it was value for money (inclusive of all taxes, services and fees) and I would recommend it.

Robyn Beard NSW - August 2016

Gisele was a fabulous host. She told us a good place to eat which was lovely and escorted us to the correct bus stop when we left. The breakfasts were lovely but being there such a short time we really only slept there but the proximity to everything was fantastic. We had an ensuite but the toilet was down the hall but really not a big deal.

RICKI JACKSON, NSW - JUNE 2016

Giseles’ B&B is centrally located and suited our requirements. Several restaurants in vicinity. The B&B was excellent accommodation, very comfortable bedroom, quiet at night. Breakfast  quality was excellent with fresh fruit, continental style. Host Gisele was charming and very kind. Although neither of us spoke the other's language we managed to get by and Gisele gave us some very helpful advice. We even managed to catch local bus transport following her instructions! Overall, a most pleasant stay. We would recommend Gisele and her husband Frederic to anyone wishing to stay in a 'home away from home' location in Paris. Who knows, we may even get back there ourselves at some future date.

BERYLN AND JOAN, VIC - AUGUST 2014

"Gisele and Frederic's apartment was truly Parisienne and we felt as if we were truly living in Paris, much nicer and less formal than a hotel.  Gisele and Frederic made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived (even 2hrs late) and were just so helpful in all respects. They are the most welcoming and charming hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful everyday, fresh croissants, baguettes and lovely bowls of fresh fruit. Gisele helped us find our way around the city and at the end of our visit Frederic helped us to the correct platform at Les Halles station at 6.30 am. What more could you ask for in charming hosts?

Gisele phoned a restaurant we wanted to visit to find out exactly how we would find it from the Metro stop. Very very kind and helpful. Gisele is a great housekeeper and we were very happy with the bedroom and bathroom and for that matter the whole of her apartment.  Lots of travel books, maps and always bottles of water.  The bedroom and bathroom were totally adequate and clean. The beds very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We were incredibly happy with our visit to Paris and Gisele and Frederic's B&B apartment and have recommended your website to our friends".

PAM RUSSELL, NSW - AUGUST 2014

"The accommodation and breakfasts were very nice, clean and with a French ambient. We got along well with our limited French. Gisele advised us on things to see and places to go to, about the metro etc. The location was excellent: close  to the Seine, Louvre, St Michel's etc. We were very happy with our choice of Petite Paris and want to thank you for your detailed advice and prompt processing"

ANA CORREIA from NSW - AUGUST 2013

“Thank you so much for your hospitality. It was so nice to be welcomed by such wonderful hosts on our first jet-lagged day in Paris. Your suggestions and directions made our trip easy and enjoyable . We will be sure to recommend your B+B service to  anyone going to Paris. Thanks for going the extra mile and finding us directions to Orly Airport"

RACHEL & ELAINE, from Brisbane - January 2013

"Just back from 3 months driving 9177kms round France &  Italy. We were very happy with the Petite Paris B&B service and with our selection of Giselle & Frederic’s BB in the marais. It is very central to so many things within walking distance. Giselle is very informative and provides a really good diversity for breakfast.  We have already told other people about Petite Paris and would certainly recommend your service"
