Yours hosts, Anne-Claude and Pascal, are in their forties. Anastasia, their daughter was born in october 2008.

Anne-Claude was born in the north of France (Hazebrouck) and she has been living in Montmartre since 1990, her favourite area in Paris because of its small village feel. Pascal was born in Mulhouse. Both of them know Paris very well and will be able to give you quality advice during your visit.

They have offered their guest room to travellers for several years, mainly people on business trips or on long stays, but since 2007, the opened as an official B&B to keep meeting new people as they both love cultural exchanges and travelling.

Pascal has plenty of experience with Bed & Breakfasts as a guest himself when he travelled through Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Greece, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Vietnam. He lived in Switzerland for several years and can speak fluent German. Therefore he understands what makes a great quality B&B.

You can have immediate access to your room if there are no other guests leaving on the same day. Otherwise, you can access it in the afternoon after it has been prepared for you.

Without any instruction from you about your arrival time, you will be expected only in the evening between 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm.

As both Anne-Claude and Pascal work, Anastasia is looked after by Zhor, a nanny who comes to the apartment everyday at 8.30am (except for the week end), with another baby of the same age. Zhor (who is of Moroccon origin) speaks French and English. She has been living in Paris for many years and will welcome you during the week if you arrive before 6.30 pm.

Anne-Claude and Pascal have a cat named Siam. Very quiet, he will never enter your bedroom. However, if you suffer from allergies to cats, this bed and breakfast may not be suitable for you.

Your hosts do not want any other pets in their home.

Your hosts do not smoke and wish to receive only non smoking guests.

You cannot telephone and there is no internet connection in the apartment. A telephone box or internet café is nearby. However, when your hosts are at home, you can access your emails on their computer if necessary.

The washing machine is in your shower room; if you stay for more than 5 nights, you can use it to wash your clothes. In this case, Anne-Claude will show you how to operate it if needed.

On request an iron and an ironing-board will be at your disposal.

The apartment has been completely designed by Anne-Claude, entirely renovated in the spring of 2007. It is a non-conventional apartment with large space. It is very bright thanks to its large windows and looks very much like an artist's workshop.
The walls and the furniture are white against dark wooden floorboards.
You will find comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax and read or watch the television. You can also use the table in the dining room.
Your bedroom
Located on the first level of the loft, the guest room is 12 square meters. It is very bright, harmoniously decorated and has a warm atmosphere.

The ground is covered with wooden flooring. It is furnished with a double bed (140 x 190), two bedside tables, a chair and two iron stools covered with thick pillows, and a wardrobe where you can store your clothes. Thanks to the soundproofing (oriented on an inner yard and with a double-glazed window), it is very quiet.

The bed linen and the pillows are new and without feathers; suitable for people who suffer from allergies.
Beautifully furnished and decorated with souvenirs collected by Anne-Claude over her 22 years of travelling. You will love the multi-ethnic style.

Lots of books, travel books, cooking and decoration magazines will be at your disposal to be read at home. They are a part of complete sets and your hosts will appreciate that you take great care of them so that these collections can be kept in their complete and perfect state.

Anne-Claude subscribes to at least fifty magazines and newspapers which will also be at your disposal.
Anne-Claude has done quite a lot of travelling herself: Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Indonesia, China, Rajasthan), America (Columbia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, California, Florida, Hawaii), Africa (Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia), the Middle East (Jordan, Yemen), Oceania (New Caledonia) and Europe (Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Great Britain). When travelling, exploring areas ‘off the beaten track’ and communicating with natives is her style.

Anne-Claude works as a Director in a large advertising group. At present, Pascal is responsible for a Parisian company dealing with restaurants and delicatessen. In his previous jobs, he worked as a chef in France and abroad, in the ‘Relais et Châteaux’ network (luxury accommodations and restaurants) and famous restaurants.

Anne-Claude is interested in architecture and loves the history of France and of Paris. Anne-Claude has attended lessons on the history of Paris in the Louvre for more than 10 years. She is a wealth of information.

Pascal is more interested in the history of the monuments and in the Parisian life. As he has some free time, he would be happy to spend time to discuss with you.

Both your hosts love the cinema, theatre, shows and exhibitions. They offer great advice for your visits to the museums, different areas of Paris, shopping, and information on what not to miss during your stay.

Anne-Claude speaks very good English. Pascal speaks fluent German.
Should you wish for a larger breakfast with eggs, ham and cheese, you can request it before your arrival (so that your hosts can get the necessary food). The cost for this additional service is 10 euros (1 or 2 people included).
