Odile, Parisian born, has a large family. Her parents live in Normandy in Lisieux, one of her daughters lives in Orleans, the other in Switzerland and her husband’s family is from Ales. She will share with pleasure her knowledge of the different areas of France. She will also offer to guide you through her area of Paris. 

As a doctor, Odile first worked at the magnificent Reunion Island in the east of France, in Epinal, before she followed her husband who was working as doctor at the OMS (Organisation Mondiale de la Santé – worldwide health care) when he began to work abroad. First in Europe, ten years in Copenhagen (Denmark) and five years in Bonn (Germany), allowed her to acquire a good level in the English language, a little in German and Danish.

The arrival or depositing of luggage is possible at all times if you let your hostess know you arrival time and respect it. 
You can have immediate access to the bedroom if there is no departure of other guests on the same day. Otherwise, you can access your bedroom in the afternoon after it has been prepared for you. 
Odile does not smoke and wishes to receive only non-smoking guests. 
Odile does not have any animals at her home and does not wish to receive any. 
Odile’s office has internet connection (ADSL) which is at your disposal for free to check your emails. 
You are welcome to watch cabled television with Odile in the living room downstairs. 
Wifi is free at this B&B. If you have your laptop you may get connected
The access to the kitchen is possible for you to warm a snack or prepare some sandwiches. 
This is one of the rare accommodations that we recommend where on some rare occasions you will not be the only unique paying guest. (there may be others staying in guest room 324/325 upstairs).

A convertible bed with a mattress of 80 x 190cm can be added in the bedroom for a child or a young adult wishing to avoid the cost of a second bedroom. Warning: the bedroom is 14 square meters and this additional bed will make this room suitable for sleeping only. For your comfort, your hostess prefers to limit the use of this additional bed to short stays of a family with children or young friends who will accept this camping style way of sleeping.  

On the floor upstairs, there are two other guest rooms which a family of four people. The main guest room N° 324 with a large terrace and the guest room 325 , which is smaller. If there are tourists in these rooms, you will not be the only guest at Odile's. 

In the evening, Odile who is a fine cook and loves gastronomy, can offer you a home cooked dinner. A complete gastronomic meal (drinks, first course, main course, cheeses, desert, coffee, half a bottle of wine) from 30 euros/person depending on the time of the year, for 2 people minimum (please make your reservation with Odile before your arrival). 

If your celebraing a birthday or want particular attention, Odile can also organize a dinner with candles for you, from 50 Euros/person.

Chilled champagne can be serve on the terrace or in the living room upstairs with cocktail snacks (from 50 euros, 1 bottle of champagne, 10 pieces of cocktail snack). 

Laundry service is 20 euros (5 to 10 pieces of clothes, 10 small or 5 large one). Odile will recommend a nearest laundry for larger loads.

If you travel with a baby or a young child (less than 3 years old), Odile can put at your disposal a baby bed for 20 euros, to be paid  to your host on your arrival.

Welcome to an art lovers home. Odile’s B&B is a gorgeous inviting home full of character and charm, with pieces of art and antique decor to intrigue and delight. An absolutely cosy, homey ambience awaits you here, in this most quintessential traditional and authentic Parisian family home. Odile is one of our most loyal and experienced professional hosts offering her B&B for over 15 years. On the first floor of her home in this guest room #357 with private bath (featured here) and on the second level are 2 air conditioned guest bedrooms both with exceptional views of the rooftops of Paris and the sparkling Eiffel tower seen from the balconies. Each room has a private bathroom and between the rooms is a guests sitting area/lounge also with a balcony and Eiffel view. This 2nd level is the guests exclusive part of the house. Odile serves fresh traditional breakfasts downstairs in her dining room daily or on the balcony when it is warm. This B&B can accommodate up to 7 people. Enquire for full prices.

This large apartment of eight rooms on two levels (170 m2) is located on the 9th and 10th floors (with an elevator lift until the 9th level only) of a building built in 1960, located in a small and quiet street very close to the Violet Square and metro station Felix Faure. This building of high level standing is very secure: with security supervision of the building 24hrs as well as a keeper during the day.

Odile and her husband bought their apartment a few years ago and made lots of changes and renovations to it, going so far as changing the location of the internal staircase to a spot that allowed more light to come into the apartment from east to west. 
It offers several terraces both sides, the largest (35 m2) being close to the guest room with a magnificent view of Paris, with the Eiffel tower directly in front of you.
The shower and the toilets are private for guests and are just beside your bedroom. 
The shower room is equipped with a shower, a washbasin and some cupboards. 

Bath products and towels, as well as a hair dryer are at your disposal. 

The toilets are independent from the shower room and are also equipped with a washbasin.
Odile offers a traditional French breakfast: juices (orange, grapefruit), coffee, milk, teas, baguette and fresh croissants (cooked every morning by herself), jams (All mostly made by Odile), butter and cheese such as ‘gruyere’ (if you ask Odile before your arrival). 

From time to time, she may bake a cake for you; her specialty is walnut cake (if your stay is at least for four nights, do not hesitate to ask for it, if you want to taste it). 

If you drink tea, it will be served in admirable china cups from Villeroy & Boch. 

The breakfast is served on the large table of the dining room (large enough for eight people ) opening on to the kitchen from where you will have a beautiful view of the above terrace. Drawings on the tiles in the kitchen are real works of art made by an artist from the north of France. 

If you want breakfast consisting of with ham and eggs you may request it for an additional cost of 10 euros (1 or 2 people) per day. 

This ‘globe trotting’ couple have also travelled to Canada and the U.S.A, as well as to South America (Brazil, Peru, Argentina). Odile was born in 1957 and now lives by herself in the large apartment that she loves to share with her visitors. Her husband has passed away and her children are now adults, She has five grand children. Her two granddaughters (born in 2002 and 2005) live in Switzerland and visit from time to time spending a few days with her. Her two grandsons (born in 2004 and 2006) live in Paris and visit regularly.

The guest bedroom (14 square meters) opens its large window on a magnificent view on Paris and the great eiffel tower. Those who suffer from allergies may not be suited to this B&B as it is laid out with exotic carpets.

Your room is air conditioned and equipped with two twin beds (90cmX200cm). According to what you want (please let your host know a few days before your arrival), the beds can be joined in a queen size double bed (180cmX200cm). 

The bedroom is furnished with two bedside tables, an oak wood wardrobe and a small table where you will find a set for warm drinks, and two cane armchairs. It is decorated in a somber way, with white walls and striped curtains which create a very serene atmosphere. 
The oak wooden floor is covered with rugs purchased from travels in Morocco, Kirghizstan and India therefore this bedroom is not recommended to people suffering from allergies. 

You will have at your disposal the small living room ensuite to your bed room and facing the main terrace with amazing city view. Here there will always be at your disposal a kettle and a set for warm drinks (tea, instant coffee and herb teas) and documentation on Paris. 

In this small living room you can comfortably relax after your long walks. There is a small desk to write your postcards and mail or to check your emails when you wish. There is also an accessible small room on the next level that is for guests exclusive use with a fridge and microwave for those guests who wish to store and warm up basic foods e.g soups. No cooking at this B&B. 

As art lovers, Odile and her husband decorated their apartment with lots modern and classic paintings. Odile loves to show interested guests the different pieces and share their stories. 

With its large windows, the apartment offers plenty of light and ambience and it has a wonderful mix of modern and antique touches. 

You can find some traditional valueble old pieces of furniture purchased during the hosts travels or inherited from the family, such as  the two ‘closed beds’ typical of Britany,with their sliding doors, or the Danish clock in the living room.

About the home

On the level downstairs, is where you will find your guest room (357) and bath, the dining room opening onto a large terrace on the west side and the kitchen. 

The floor upstairs is Odile’s bedroom and bathroom/toilets, an office and  two more guest rooms on offer - room numbers 324 & 325, with their bathroom and small guest living room. Therefore this B&B can accommodate a group of up to 7 people. Prices provided above for up to 5. Please enquire for cost of 6 or 7 people.
