About the neighbourhood

This neighbourhood provides the perfect Parisian experience from sunny, outdoor brasseries on and around Rue Cler, to shopping the antiquities and art boutiques, to museum trips, garden and park moments to romantic walks along the Seine. 

The 7th district is a a rich area, where the Eiffel Tower stands (less than 10 minutes' walk from the apartment). It is one of the most most prestigious upscale parts of the French capital that oozes that old-world classy and classic Parisian atmosphere with its classic brasseries, mansions, antique and furniture shops and more. 

Located on the left Side River it extends from the Rue des Saints-Pères to the Avenue de Suffren. It is well known thanks to the presence of the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, the Ecole Militaire, the hotel Matignon, the National Assembly, ministries, the headquarters of UNESCO, many embassies , the National Foundation of Political Science - Sciences Po, the Maison de Verre, the Orsay Museum, the Musée du quai Branly (arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas opened in 2006 ; Coffee Branly offers a terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower), the Rodin Museum at the hotel Biron (you can lunch in his garden: the Garden of Varennes), the Museum of the Army in the national hotel des Invalides (with the tomb of Napoleon).

This is not a very lively area in the evening promising peaceful nights (with the exception of rue Clerc, a few minutes walk, with its long strip of bars, restaurants and live music venues that is always lively yet far enough from the apartment to remain quiet). Rue Cler is well-known all over the world for its organic fresh market open everyday except Mondays. Saturdays and Sundays are best time to go for the bustle and even celebrity spotting. Very close, you will have Rue Saint-Dominique with many shops, the Rodin museum, the Invalides and so much more to enjoy. 

This very central location is ideal because you can reach many tourist places by walking, but you also have several subway stations nearby (Ecole Militaire, Bir Hakeim, RER C Alma within 10 minutes' walk) as well as numerous bus lines such as:

Bus 42: to go to Opera
Bus 69: to St-Germain, Louvre, Marais, Bastille, Pierre Lachaise Cemetary.
Bus 63: to Institute for the Arabic World, Gare de Lyon, Gare d'Austerlitz
Bus: 80: to Champs- Elysées, Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur Basilica.

Welcome to our beautiful new 49m2 apartment completely renovated located on Rue de Grenelle in the beautiful historic and upscale Eiffel/Invalides district of Paris, the 7th Arrondissement. Close to the Eiffel, Museum Branley and minutes walk to the well known Rue Cler and its popular organic markets each week. It boasts a charming friendly atmosphere with its high ceilings and traditional old wooden beams and thoughtful charming furnishings and decor. Newly renovated, the apartment is airy bathed in light in all rooms throughout the year

Self contained and fully equipped guests will have all they need to be at home, comfortable, self sufficient and independent. The homes lies on the 1st French floor, it is very tranquil and offers a living/dining room with lounges, dining table and a work table, shelving and plenty of books to enjoy, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, both with wardrobes and shelves, separate kitchen with all the essential equipment, tools and basic ingredients and a bathroom that is modern in design also with all towels and linens provided.

Additional information
Check in is 2pm - 10pm, though this time can be negotiated with your homeowner as long as guests provide arrival time in advance and respect it. After hour check-in incur additional cost. 
Arrival and deposit of your bags is possible anytime if you let your host know and you can have immediate access to the apartment if there is no departure of other guests and if the room has been cleaned/ prepared for you. Otherwise, you can access it in the afternoon after cleaning. 
Check out is generally at 10am. 
No pets allowed in the apartment.
The apartment is non smoking. 
Your host apartment is Wifi equipped. With your laptop, you can get connected to Internet. 

BOOKING TERMS
Deposit payment is required to secure this apartment. 
Initial deposit payable to Petite Paris immediately secures the apartment for your dates. 
Second homeowner deposit payment is requested payable within 48hours for 50% of the balance remaining * this is one of our rare apartments where the owner requests a higher/additional deposit payment and therefore this second payment is due. Petite Paris will provide all instructions. 
On arrival remaining balance is due in euro cash or via credit card. 
Cleaning Fee included in rates.
Utilities not included in rates (water, gas and electricity) - this is charged at end of stay based on usage. 
Tenants Insurance mandatory for all self contained apartment rentals in Paris according to French Law. Guests who do not have this can organise it via Petite Paris.  

Cancellation policy: Deposit is non refundable at any time. 
Cancellation within and inclusive of 14 days of arrival 50% balance payment is due immediately and cancellations within (and inclusive of) 7 days of arrival 100% balance payment is due immediately to host/homeowner.
