Bed & Breakfast Accommodations in Paris

This accommodation is perfect if you like to be independent in a private apartment. It has been lovingly decorated with taste by a Parisian painter, Herve. At your disposal is a complete apartment for your personal use only: 2 bedrooms, a private bathroom and a kitchen. Close to Montmartre, the Sacré Coeur Basilica, the Moulin Rouge and the ‘Amelie’ Cafe. Reachable with two nearby subway stations and three buses heading into the city centre, it’s easy and quick to access all the Parisian tourist haunts, while living in a Parisian area which has kept its authenticity, spirit and quietness.

Additional information
There is a 3 night minimum stay for this apartment. However it is possible to stay for less than 3 nights for an extra cost. 
Guests can leave luggage from 1PM if the guest gives a precise arrival time to the Host and respects it.
If there are no leaving guests, your bedroom will be available to you on your arrival. If visitors have spent the night there, your suite will be ready in the late afternoon after their departure, once it has been prepared for you. If you do not give an exact arrival time or do not arrive at the agreed time, your hosts will accommodate you from 8pm. 

If their are 5 or 6 people in your group, the single sofa bed can open into a low single bed and an extra single mattress added in one of the rooms turning it into a camping style sleeping space.  Children can be accommodated for by making use of this extra single mattress. A baby (travel) bed can be added in your room for an extra fee of 50 euros paid to the host directly, for a small baby (younger than 12 months).

Your host love animals. If your dog is small (less than 5 kilos), well educated and never stays alone in the apartment, you may bring it with you. Before proceeding with your booking please contact us to advise.

A telephone line is at your disposal to receive calls and to be used with a pre-paid card. You may buy one from your host or at the post office or in a bar - ‘TABAC’. 

Hervé is a non-smoker and prefers that you do not smoke in their home.

WIFI internet is now available at this B&B apartment.

If you’re in Paris for a special occasion such as an anniversary, a birthday or a romantic break, Hervé is able to decorate your bedroom with romantic floral arrangement/s, lit candles and champagne to set the scene. (Champagne at extra cost)

Herve will be happy to spend time with guests explaining his art throughout the apartment. Guests are able to buy one piece of Herve’s art if they wish or Herve will be happy to create your own  (rate will be according size and materials used).

If you wish to improve your French, your host can spend some time with you to practice, according to his availability . 

You can use the washing machine in the Kitchen for 5 Euros per load (paid directly to the host). Please ask Herve before use.

If you would like a guided tour of Paris or a guided visit of your neighbourhood (Montmartre), Herve would be pleased to accompany you and show you the real Paris, not the one in your guide book (From 10 € / hour paid directly). Please provide advance notice if this appeals to you so that Hosts can make sure of their availability. 

Wine and Cheese tasting is a speciality of Herve's. Please ask him to put together a tasting for you (55euro/2pers including 3 wines plus some "amuse-gueule") or (35eu/2pers for 1 wine and cheese tasting). Please give advance notice if you want this.

Hervé is in his forties. His main passion is travelling and he is an art lover. Hervé is an artist  and his artworks are decorated throughout the apartment. After spending time traveling in scotland, he was impressed by the conviviality and originality of the Bed and Breakfast home stay and thought it a pleasant way to meet new people and discover the world as it really is. Since this experience he has offered a guest room to travellers to provide the same hospitality and welcome in Paris.

Thanks to Hervés love of Paris, in particular the Montmartre quarter, he is able to provide good advice during your visit to Paris as well as exchange travel stories and experiences with you. Herve speaks English well.

In order to provide you optimum comfort, you will be offered Herve’s apartment as an  
independent un-hosted home so you will be able to enjoy a real Parisian life. Your host will live in a second apartment some minutes away, easily accessible and available to help guide you through the city if you require.
About the hosts
Montmartre: this district of Paris is famous for its village structure, its painters, its markets, its cabarets and its famous winery. Various, shops, bakery, vegetable markets, restaurants and cafes are close by and you will really feel and live like a true Parisian. Located in a quiet street, you will have a peaceful and relaxing stay in this apartment.
The refined atmosphere of the lounge/dining room and its window opening onto a springtime, floral balcony will delight you. It is furnished with a good quality convertible double bed (140x190), a television, a radio, CD player, a comfortable relaxing armchair and a green marble coffee table.

Bedroom
The bedroom is 15m2 and offers a double feather bed (140X190). It has a very romantic atmosphere and is decorated with paintings and art objects made by Herve. Thanks to its location on a calm, one-way road, you will be able to enjoy a peaceful stay. Documents, maps, magazines, art books about Paris are at your disposal. With the changing seasons, your host evolves the dominant ‘celtic’ decoration of the bedroom.
The small bathroom is equipped with a small bath with shower and a washbasin. 
Bath products and towels are at your disposal. Toilet is separate from the bathroom.

Kitchen 
The kitchen is equipped with a sink, a refrigerator, an oven and hotplates, microwave, toaster, electric coffeemaker and kettle, some crockery and kitchen utensils and basic cooking ingredients: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, rice, pasta etc. Tea and herbal tea set is also at your disposal.
Breakfast
Breakfast is not served but the main breakfast ingredients: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, jam, butter and toast will be left at your disposal for your first breakfast. You will need go to the bakery in the mornings to buy baguettes and croissants just like the french do - you can test your language skills! Hervé will show you around the kitchen on arrival and will happily point out where to find the nearest bakeries.

Located on the fourth floor (with lift) of a freestone building constructed in 1908, your hosts' cosy home is typically Parisian. The ceiling has mouldings, the floor is oak wood and each room has a chimney. You will love the theatrical decor and atmosphere of this accommodation, which unites the classical, the magical and the natural.

You will be offered a full independent apartment, for your private use with a bedroom furnished with a double bed (140X190), a dinning room where a second comfortable double bed (140X 90) can be prepared, a private bath and a kitchen.
