Gisèle spent the first years of her life in Luxembourg and then moved to Paris with her family when she was 7 years old. She loved Paris from the moment she arrived and has never lived anywhere else. As Gisèle adores her city and likes walking, she will be able to give you great advice on various cultural visits and in the best routes to be followed on foot from her B&B home. She will also gladly offer any other helpful advice and tips about Paris at breakfast times.

Gisèle offers on your arrival, to take you on a guided visit around the area to be shown major interests as well as bus stops and the metro. Gisèle is passionate about literature and she is part of an association for children’s reading assistance. You will be able to speak with her about several subjects, like French literature, African art and children’s education.

Very obliging, she will reserve a show, a restaurant, a taxi or make other reservations for you. Gisèle speaks a little school-based English but she is talkative and very dynamic and plans to study English to speak more fluently with visitors. Often while walking in Paris, she helps lost tourists and readily speaks to them.

Frederic is from Guadeloupe. He is now very Parisian after having established his career as a civil servant in the town of Paris. He is very discrete and spends long months in Guadeloupe where his parents still live.
