Paris Guide
Bed & Breakfast Accommodations in Paris
We don’t feel sufficiently content offering amazingly unique private B&B apartments to rest your head in the homes of eagerly awaiting Parisian friends. So we’re introducing a NEW service: GUIDED TOURS and/or CLASSES led by our wonderful B&B Hosts in personable intimate settings. This page is dedicated to our own EXCLUSIVE guided tours to get you completely immersed in the French culture and Parisian life. If French cuisine is your interest, paris markets, architecture, practising your french, art or just general sightseeing (with an appetite for discovering the undiscovered) then many of our hosts offer guided tours, classes and other services that will satisfy these interests and make you feel like your living a true Parisian life.

You may choose to book a service at the time of booking your B&B (recommended as Hosts can reserve a date and time for you well in advance) or on arrival by communicating with your host - according to their time commitments. A list of services that each Host offers you is listed in the B&B Description under ‘Additional Services’.

Below are our FEATURED services!

Meandering  through  Montmartre
Petite Paris takes you on a stroll through the quaint village of Montmartre with local artist
Herve Saget. Petite Paris’ exclusive tour guide!

Experience a unique and intimate guided private tour through the inspiring old-world charm of Montmartre. Herve, your local guide knows the area like the back of his hand and will show you not only all the must-see sights, but also the secret spots not listed in your guide book (ssssh) and share stories and facts that will please you. Experience the real ‘Insiders’ Paris!’

Herve is a real character full of warmth and humor which makes for lasting friendships. A truly hospitable (albeit a little cheeky) gentleman; he will keep you intrigued, awe struck and laughing with his knowledge and wit throughout your private tour. Ending the tour with a cheese and wine tasting is optional. It is also Herve’s favourite part so please indulge him; your taste buds will thank you!

On the Itinerary:
Montmartre Museum
Place du Tertre
The rest is a surprise.

Rate: 35euro per person, 2 persons minimum

Duration: 2.5hours

Tour with cheese and wine tasting: 95euro per person (3 wines, 4 cheeses)

Condition: To be booked at the time of your B&B booking.

L’artiste (the artist): Visit Herve’s website and read about his intriguing and unique technique, fuelled by his interest in the elements - earth, air, fire, water - and gothique music. www.pepere.fr
If you like his work, he can show you the paintings he has to sell or, if you prefer, create a personal painting for you during your stay.

About Montmartre:
There is no area in Paris more romantic than Montmartre. Named by Parisians ‘the Paris village’ Montmartre is the highest point of the city, built on the slopes of a hill which is 130 meters high, overhung by the Sacre Coeur Basilica. It has incredible views over Paris.

The area is quite busy and peaceful altogether. You can easily leave the crowd and find a lost little village square around the next corner, an unexpected hole-in-the-wall cafe or restaurant, museum, interesting street art and so many shops nestled here and there which you could not find without the insider knowledge of a local. You will be delighted to see that Montmartre has it’s own vineyards and produces wine and see the last remaining windmills still remaining in the area. Montmartre and its surroundings were also the residing place of many famous painters such as Renoir, Lautrec, Picasso and Pissaro (we have Pissaro’s old apartment as a B&B rental too) all of whom were seduced by it’s enchanting ambiance. You can still go to the famous Tertre square and watch artists paint and draw on the street.

Montmartre is a little more distant than other areas from the major sights, but the area is a must-see sight in its own right and public transport will get you there and back in a snap. Going out in Montmartre is inexpensive too and there is a very lively nightlife.
